This virtual presentation will discuss the rapidly changing culture of cannabis use, the perception of risk, and common exchanges regarding use. Talking points will be covered specific to encouraging an informed, yet approachable stance on cannabis use in order to have an intelligent “cannabis conversation.”

This virtual training provides an overview of the disease of addiction, key issues to be aware of when working with youth and young adults struggling with substance use, and how best to support young people in recovery and their families.
This six-hour training is designed for both administrative and clinical staff members interested in ethical problem-solving and legal risk management strategies. Scholarships are available and are highly recommended to apply for.
This training includes the application of evidence-based practices identified in a Zero Suicide approach to include suicide risk formulation, safety planning, lethal means reduction and care transitions.
