The topic of sexual health casts a wide net and it can be difficult to know what topics to prioritize in treatment. This training will explore common sex education topics and introduce an established curriculum for substance use programming.

This training is designed for clinicians at any experience level seeking to improve their understanding of how Cannabis use affects the central nervous system and mental health. During this training, participants will learn about the pleasure and reward neural pathways and how THC acts on specific areas of the brain.

This seminar will invite participants to reflect on their own self-care, their relationship to the larger socio-political landscape, and how each of these areas impact client outcomes. This seminar is designed as a call to action to challenge participants to step into their own healing with courage.

This interactive, four-hour training will introduce concepts and the basic principles of Harm Reduction. We will provide participants with the opportunity to explore the value in honest conversations with youth about drugs, equipping them with the skills to navigate their risks.

This six-hour course will provide participants with an introduction to person-centered, enhanced care coordination, with a specific emphasis on families impacted by substance misuse and co-occurring challenges. This course will use a mix of lecture, demonstration, video, and small group activities.

This training is designed for participants who have a basic foundational knowledge of ethical considerations and completed a previous ethical considerations training (although not required).  This training revisits the definition of ethics and the importance of ethics and boundaries for recovery support workers and helpers in peer-based roles and settings.

This two-hour training examines trends in NH and explores the adulterants cut into today’s street drug supply and their physical effects, including in samples of cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, and methamphetamines as well as the presence of xylazine in fentanyl. The goal of this six-hour workshop is to introduce attendees to the performance domains of the CRSW credential: Ethical Responsibility, Advocacy, Mentoring and Education, Recovery and Wellness Support.  Information will be specific to peer support and working with individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders in a supportive way.

This session will offer a review of challenges and themes in grieving identified by surviving family members and will review common tasks and opportunities to foster healing.

This full-day training will cover the growth and development of the brain from infancy to late adolescence and examine the impact of various substances in the trajectory of that development.
